  • You can compare two directories and write the results to a file, minus some cruft, using diff -rq dir1 dir2 | grep -v -e 'DS_Store' | sort > diffs.txt in OS X.
  • There Will Be Blood is phenomenal and deserves all the hype (thanks for the loaner, Matt!); P.T. Anderson just keeps getting better and better.
  • Scarlett Johansson has released an album of Tom Waits covers.
