Web Standards Wizardry
This is an amazing web site by developer Steve Smith. It sets an extremely high standard for integration of next-generation web technologies, that showcases the power of CSS (wiki), and applies a beautiful, information-design-conscious æsthetic. Ordered List’s visual presentation and content management is controlled by WordPress, the same open-source blogging software that powers DR. If you have not yet seen AJAX (wiki) in action, just type a term into Ordered List’s search box and marvel at the gorgeous, liquid results. All I can think right now is that the University of Notre Dame is very fortunate to have a designer of this calibre on their web team! (Not sure about the group’s tagline though…)
